w/c 4th March – Mother’s Day – Pottery & coffee parents mornings
w/c 4th March – World Book Day – dressing up and bake sale.
w/c 25th March – Easter time begins: Easter egg hunt with parents & carers in the sensory garden / arts & crafts week
Recycling week – classes to discuss this and create fun activites around the subject and see if we can have local bin man come to see us and talk about the bins
Parents information evening: speak to parents to see what they would like this to be about i.e challenging behaviours / literacy development / autism awareness

April 22: Earth day – Forest School celebration: all children to understand the importance of keeping the environment clean and safe through various activites and big litter picking outing
May
7th May: deaf awareness week: invite parents in for a Makaton training evening
May 13th: Moat Barn Eurovision contest! Parents to come along and watch

w/c 10th June – Father’s Day – Father’s Day event in all rooms and Forest School: afternoon tea or coffee & cake baking morning
w/c 10th – Healthy Eating week – trying different healthy foods and talking about the importance of healthy eating: Dentist visit the nursery to talk about healthy teeth and eating
July
9th July – Sports day (all rooms) and parents to come and watch. Times TBC
Saturday 27th July – Oaks Graduation BBQ and summer Fayre: all children and parents invited! : Pizza van, local businesses & bouncy castle
August
15th August – Pakistan Independence Day: children to engage in related activites
All of July and August: School readiness for pre-schoolers: activites, days out and teacher visits
September
13th September – Roald Dahl day, storytelling, and puppet shows for the children / dressing up

31st October – Diwali week: whole nursery to celebrate.

Tuesday 5th November: bonfire bonanza at Forest School! Open event: Food truck, Bonfire, Hot chocolates, bonfire trail, sparklers and much more!
November 17th: Children in Need week – bake sales, wear something spotty and raising money

2nd December – Moat Barn Christmas Fayre : local business, pony rides, food trucks and more.
7th December- Celebrating Hanukkah
